It's kinda interesting.

Let's suppose for a moment that we humans beings are unable to save our
selfes.

Yet we do have the power to manipulate DNA.

We could therefore construct a bacteria ourselfes which will eventually
evolve into human beings.

(Plant it on comets/spread it through the galaxy somehow).

Therefore it is thinkable that this same scenerio has occured somewhere else
in space/time and that we are infact engineered by aliens ;) :)
